The Birregurra Golf Club is located at the foothills of the magnificent Otway Ranges. The course is nine holes and provides a true test of golf.
The course is located on the edge of the township and offers spectacular views while playing the undulating Legend Couch fairways and beautifully manicured grass greens.
Four holes lie on the banks of the mighty Barwon River, with the second hole “Niagara”, featuring a breath-taking view of the surrounding district, and a 40-metre drop from tee to green.
The remaining five holes are located in the town’s old public park which dates back to the early 1900s. The fairways are lined with magnificent heritage-listed trees such as Norfolk Pines, Radiata Pines, Oaks and Manna Gums.
The unique Birregurra Golf Club is a true hidden gem and offers great value for the whole family, from just $15 green fees per player.
The committee of the club welcomes all people to become members. There is no joining fee and golfers will be treated to some fantastic social experiences if they elect to play in the men’s competition which runs from midday on a Saturday or ladies day on a Thursday from mid-morning. You can also just become a member and enjoy the experience at your own leisure.
We have a relaxed dress code but we do encourage soft spike golf shoes.
The clubhouse offers beautiful views of the Barwon River and the Otway Ranges. There is a fully catered kitchen, bar and a facility that is capable of hosting events of up to 80 sit-down people…. and don’t forget the king-size billiard table.
